Great Times at Little Baby's & Pizza Brain

We're still feeling the good vibes from our Eat & Greet party earlier this month - where 16 more members joined the Kensington Community Food Co-op. A big welcome to you all!

Our first public  Eat & Greet was held at Little Baby's Ice Cream and Pizza Brain. A large crowd turned up to enjoy good food and hear from members who made their case about the importance in innvesting in a cooperatively owned and run grocery store. A dedicated crew of yellow-shirted KCFC members eagerly shared the benefits of membership and introduced neighbors to KCFC. Delicious refreshments of pizza, ice cream, beer, and cider kept everyone smiling.

If you aren't a member yet, join the more than 250 who have already invested.  Help KCFC get one step closer to opening a member owned grocery store in the neighborhood.  We need your support!

If you want to learn more about hosting an Eat & Greet at your home or business, get in touch with our fundraising coordinator, Amaryllis Rivera.

Along with our dedicated volunteers, we want to thank Pizza Brain and Little Baby's for hosting and promoting membership with some sweet deals. Also thanks to Narragansett Beer for donating their beer and Philadelphia Brewing Company for the Commonwealth Ciders.

Want to see more photos from the event? We snapped shots of several of the new members as they signed up. Check them out at our Facebook page.
