It's the Fourth Tuesday of the Month Already!

Everyone is welcome to shop at Kensington's favorite monthlypop up food co-op! A selection of bulk goods, produce, bread, proteins and more await you...local vendors with samples, too. Upstairs at Circle of Hope, 2009 Frankford Avenue, just north of Norris.

🐓 Just a few goodies to look for: honey, tahini, maple syrup, granola, dried fruit, dried beans, popcorn, raw sugar and oats!

The Beginning of The Ends...

Board Presentation: KCFC Ends Statement & Discussion
Thursday, February 25 7-8:30pm

Learn about KCFC's broad mission and how our board is organizing to get our Co-op open. We'll present our newly voted-on Ends Statement, discuss how the Ends are fundamental to the co-op model and how they guide all of us strategically to work together to achieve our goal of making KCFC a brick and mortar reality and enhancing our community. We'll have brownies, too. • The MAKE team is already busy at work at the site, as well as submitting permits and making friends at City Hall. We are moving along!
  • Xerox Corp. has generously given us a $2000 grant to support the opening of KCFC. Thank you! Thank you!
  • The board has been busy strategizing for funding sources, and we are in the process of talking to several potential lenders and grantors that could drive our current $600,000 gap down.
  • We will be kicking off our 2016 Member Loan Campaign in the spring.
We appreciate your continued hard work, trust and support as we work together to get this store open. We know it's been a long go, but we're gaining momentum now, and things are happening. Got questions about the project? We are here to answer them. Contact any of us.
